Cherry bomb is an opaque, glossy, bright red cone 6 glaze. Formulated with high stain content for high intensity colour.
This glaze contains cadmium pigments encapsulated in zircon, which provides a protective barrier highly resistant to the solvent action of molten glaze. When fired to Cone 6, it is safe for use on food surfaces.
Glaze layering or mixing with other glazes is not recommended for functional ware unless glaze testing confirms cadmium release remains below legal limits.
500 mL, 1 L, and 5 L sizes are slow-drying brushing glazes. The pail size (12L) is made to
order (typically within one week) and prepared as a fast-dry dipping glaze unless brushing is
specified.
