811 Porcelain slip fires off-white and translucent at cone 6. It is highly vitrified so larger forms are more prone to deforming or slumping than other slips. For large forms, firing to cone 5 still produces a vitrified body suitable for functional ware while being more resistant to slumping.
The 10L is packaged in sturdy plastic pails with a plastic bag liner. There is a $9.00 refundable deposit on pails.
