Ground quartz rock. About 99.8% pure crystalline silica, When melted it forms the primary non-crystalline (glassy) structural network in ceramic glazes. A very fine, reactive grade recommended for use in glaze recipes calling for silica, quartz, flint or silicon dioxide.
